In 2018, Wal-Mart announced it would be building a $2.8 billion US highway to connect its stores with the West Coast.
The highway, which would run from the Texas Gulf Coast to California’s Pacific Coast, is currently being constructed by the private company that has been building it, the Transbay Transit Center (TTC), a massive highway that connects San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The project has sparked controversy, with opponents saying the highway would not connect to the existing US highways.
However, the new highway, dubbed the West End, would connect to existing highways in the region.
The new highway is set to open in 2019.
It is also expected that the road will be able to support at least 10 million people per year, with a goal of building 1 million homes by 2020.
However the road’s completion is currently under negotiation.
